Contribute to the vitality of our Côte-de-Gaspé business network!
Many of our actions are visible (Gala, cocktails, media appearances, etc.) and you can see the dynamism of our members, whom we represent and showcase in our communications.

Other actions remain essential to the Chamber's service delivery, and are carried out behind the scenes. They require the support of partners linked to the Chamber's overall mission , and are more difficult to "sponsor".

Maintaining the institution that has been the Chamber of Commerce since 1939 (archives, website updating, community relations, brand awareness)

• Monitoring of issues and representation on local and regional issues
• Travel throughout the territory to revitalize various sectors of the MRC (Murdochville, Grande-Vallée, Petite-Vallée, Cloridorme and Gaspé)
• Surveys of the business community, analysis and preparation of dossiers based on socio-economic realities (fisheries crisis, storm impacts, impacts of various legislative changes, etc.).
• Official spokesperson for employers and business people (including self-employed workers) with government bodies
• Direct service to businesses (help, referrals, letters of support, advice)
• etc.

Your contribution enables the Côte-de-Gaspé business community to maintain a strong voice and a permanent presence at the service of the entire community.

Just a few facts:

• Chamber sales of $200,000
• An active and diversified Board of Directors is made up of 11 business representatives from the Côte-de-Gaspé MRC territory.
• Our only permanent resource is Marie-Claude Brière, our highly committed manager.

Self-financing has its limits

• No funding for our NPO mission
• Mainly financed by membership fees (220 members), growing, approx. $35,000/year
• Event sponsorships (4 cocktail parties per year, a Gala every 2 years)
• Income or rebates from various services (GLS transport, extra services)
• Annual contribution from the MRC, ad hoc assistance from the SADC depending on projects
• Annual partners including YOU, ambassadors of the business community and donors at heart.
