History of the Chamber

The Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce (CCCG) has been a pillar of the region's economic community for many years. With a new district covering the entire La Côte-de-Gaspé MRC since 2021, the former Gaspé Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1939, has adapted to new realities to support local businesses, making the CCCG an even more crucial player in the economic and social development of La Côte-de-Gaspé.

Since its creation, the CCCG has been committed to promoting trade and industry in the region. It has organized numerous events, such as conferences, seminars and workshops, to help entrepreneurs develop their skills and keep abreast of the latest market trends. For example, lunchtime conferences on topics such as business finance and human resources management have been particularly popular and beneficial for members.

By working closely with local, regional and national authorities, the CCCG has succeeded in influencing policies favorable to the region's economic development.

In short, the Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce has a rich history of supporting and promoting local organizations. Through its many initiatives, it continues to play a vital role in the growth and prosperity of La Côte-de-Gaspé.

National theme

The theme of our 2023-2024 campaign is "Your chamber is close, for real ", and we have harmonized with our colleagues from other chambers via the Fédération des chambres de commerce (FCCQ) to achieve greater impact. Radio spots and visual content from local businesses will be broadcast.

Here's an example of a video in which 4 Quebec companies were selected to demonstrate their chamber's support (click on the image).
