An initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of La Côte-de-Gaspé, the Sûreté du Québec and the Ville de Gaspé in collaboration with the Association du Hockey mineur de Forillon, the Sylphides and the Corsaires de Forillon.
This first tournament is inclusive in terms of gender and style.

Bar and canteen service was operated by Les Sylphides (Figure Skating of Rivière-au-Renard)
- create a philanthropic sports tradition;
- develop links between companies in La Côte-de-Gaspé;
- fraternize, exchange and have fun with business colleagues (team-building);
- improve connections and communications between organizations;
- help create a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem that is aware of various causes;
- contribute to the health of the community.
The organizers wish to create a tradition for years to come, and will donate the profits from this first tournament to a local organization. For this pilot project, the profits will be donated to the Forillon Minor Hockey Association, and a symbolic donation will also be made to the Centre d'aide et de lutte aux agressions à caractère sexuel (CALACS La Bôme Gaspésie).
For future editions, a survey of Chamber members will be carried out to identify beneficiaries.
