SURVEY - Corporate volunteering (CCCG members) 5 minutes

18
March 2024

We would like to evaluate the level of volunteering and donations offered by our members to the community. This data has never been calculated, at least not in recent years, and yet it's essential when it comes to local purchasing, civic involvement, etc.

We've taken advantage of
's "population" survey to add a "corporate" component, you know, volunteering done by a company or organization.

In addition to "sponsorships" (which are in fact an "advertising" purchase), we'd like to evaluate your employees' TIME DONATIONS, in CASH, GIFTS, etc.

Here are the questions we'll be asking you at

Some examples of incentives: offering paid hours or flexibility in scheduling so that employees can volunteer during their normal working hours; recognizing employees' volunteer involvement in some way (event, letter, etc.); allowing use of the facilities of the organization (e.g., the use of a computer).), allow the use of facilities or professional equipment for volunteer activities, etc.

Some examples of types of causes: fight against cancer, food safety, organization of sports or cultural events, well-being of seniors or children, etc.

The MRC de La Côte-de-Gaspé's social development initiative is inviting managers of organizations that are members of the Chamber of Commerce to take part in a research project on volunteering, involvement and donations in the community. The aim of the survey is to gain a better understanding of how organizations in the region get involved, and to better showcase this involvement.

Participation involves completing a survey, which should take around 5 minutes to complete. You have until April 1 to complete it.

This survey is being conducted in collaboration with the ÉCOBES - Recherche et transfert center, which is a college transfer center for innovative social practices affiliated with the Cégep de Jonquière.
