The letter sent to Minister Guilbeault on February 18, 2025 was reported in the media on March 23.
We believe this is where we are most effective. But that doesn't mean we don't have the power to take more targeted action.
"On January 22, 2025, the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable du Québec (MTMDQ) announced a delay in the progress of rehabilitation work on the Port-Daniel-Gascons/Gaspé section (Section 3) of the Gaspé rail line. As a result of this delay, the arrival of the freight train in Gaspé, scheduled for December 2026, will be postponed until 2027."
