A look back at the half-day information session on regional air transport

On March 25, 2022, we held a first experiment in gathering concerns and pooling knowledge on the complex subject of regional air transport.

Thirty-seven participants attended the half-day information session on regional air transport, including entrepreneurs and organizations from Gaspé, Rocher-Percé, Baie-des-Chaleurs, Iles-de-la-Madeleine and Côte-Nord. The event was free of charge for members of the Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce.

The Gaspé half-day event enabled various regional air transport players to present part of their role, and explain the associated costs and challenges. A gathering of concerns and questions also took place.

The Chamber wanted to "get its head around it" as a group, and see how it could better comment on or intervene on behalf of companies in the regional air transport file, through the political issues it contains in this pre-election period, and in anticipation of the tabling of the new National Air Transport Policy by the Quebec Ministry of Transport.

Basically, a lot of things stand out:

and
, which will provide food for thought for the positions the Chamber may take in the future...
