The Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce and its partners (SADC de Gaspé, MRC de La Côte-de-Gaspé, ERAC and TCTIC) coordinate actions to provide members with the tools they need at various levels.
Coming to your Chamber in March 2023

will be held in Gaspé and in l'Estran (dates and locations to be confirmed, follow our various media), and we will also take the time to provide an overview of the obligations of Bill 25.
Following this awareness-raising session, companies will be able to continue their training through the offerings of our member partners, depending on their profile. For example, the Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce will organize more advanced general training (depending on demand) with cybersecurity specialists for small businesses, while the TCTIC's
will set up cybersecurity cohorts for manufacturers and processors.

In the event of non-compliance with the Act, the Commission d'accès à l'information will be able to impose substantial penalties, which could amount to as much as $25 million or 4% of worldwide sales. This penalty will be proportional, in particular, to the seriousness of the breach and the company's ability to pay.
