Winners of the Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce's 2024 Recognition Evening

May 27, 2024 CCTG Activities, Members Only

The Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce held its Soirée Reconnaissance on Saturday, May 24, 2024, in front of more than 180 guests, at the Nation Micmac de Gespeg community hall. After an absence of several years, the event was an opportunity for the region's business community to get together and celebrate the work of local companies.

La Soirée - Human Themes

The Soirée brought together members of the Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce, guests and partners. The concept was "Humanity at the heart of our organizations", and the program embraced this theme by showcasing human mixes and meshes, both in terms of entertainment (Myriam Pelletier 17 with professional comedienne Chrystelle Quintin accompanied by DJ Tony Russo), as with the consortium of chefs for the meal (Sarcelle, Brise-Bise and ohlespains), the gathering of local talent for table service, room for new members for photography (Précision photo and Gaspé Photo) and many other details.

The aim of the evening was to celebrate the importance of people within companies and organizations, and to highlight the resilience of the entrepreneurial milieu. " As entrepreneurs, we have become aware of the place of people in our businesses, their unique dimension, their fragility, but also their intelligence in the face of adversity. Production at any price, in any condition, is no longer the way forward. We are seeking, even if it's not always easy, to reconcile different aspects of our lives and those of our employees ", declared the new Chairman of the Board Émilie Chrétien Castonguay during the evening.

"When a star at the end of its life becomes a supernova, it explodes with such force that it obscures the entire galaxy in which it has lived, projecting matter and energy over unimaginable distances at close to the speed of light."
