The Côte-de-gaspé Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a finalist in the "Recruitment" category at the Grand Gala des Chambres de commerce du Québec.

MONTREAL, April 14, 2023 /CNW/ - The Fédération des chambres de commerce (FCCQ) du Québec is proud to announce today the names of its 33 finalists for the
. Presented by the Régime d'assurance collective des chambres de commerce (RACCC), the gala will take place on June 6, 2023 at the Centre de Congrès Le Noranda, Rouyn-Noranda.

Each year,
celebrates the management and know-how of directors and their teams across all regions of Quebec. The awards recognize chambers of commerce or individuals active in the chamber network who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements over the previous year.

This year, the FCCQ is pleased to announce a new category:
. Its purpose is to highlight the exceptional work of a chamber of commerce in implementing best practices in governance within its Board of Directors.
" The unveiling of the finalists is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the excellent work of the chambers and their teams, who work tirelessly throughout the year in their regions. They provide invaluable support for the development of businesses and communities, thereby contributing to Quebec's economic influence",




The FCCQ has chosen the theme "Close for Real", to highlight the impact of chambers of commerce in the day-to-day lives of the businesses and communities in which they operate. As with the promotional campaign bearing the same name, the FCCQ wishes to highlight the fundamental role played by chambers in the Quebec economic ecosystem.

The jury for the
competition met on April 5 to select the finalists.

"With the exceptional entries we received this year, selecting the finalists was a very arduous task for the jury! I'd like to congratulate all the participants and finalist chambers. You should be proud of your accomplishments and the positive impact your work is having on the business community," said David Rheault, Vice-President, Government and Community Relations, Air Canada, official airline of the Grande Rencontre and the Chambers of Commerce Gala.



"It is with great pleasure that I congratulate all the participants and the finalist chambers! In this economic context full of challenges and issues for the business community, the chambers in all regions have provided remarkable support for their entrepreneurs: always ready to back them up and offer them the tools they need to guarantee their growth," added Martial Laniel, Quebec Director of the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan (CCGIP) and main sponsor of the Grande Rencontre and the Gala des chambres de commerce.



"The list of finalists is a testament to the talent and commitment of the chambers and their teams that make our network so strong.
