He has taught at Université Laval's continuing education department and FSA, and has spent his career in international cooperation with the Ministère des affaires internationales du Québec and Développement internationale Desjardins (DID). He has carried out several international consulting mandates for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and ÉNAP. Pedagogical approaches

Each participant will be provided with a manual containing course notes, exercises and case studies to help them assimilate the concepts, all in digital format. A space will be created to ask questions of the trainer and share information.

With the option of continuing with the micro-certification course in applied project management (45 h), discussion and exchange on work-related situations will also be favored as a pedagogical formula.

Target audience

Given the approach adopted in this training program, the minimum size of each group is 10 people, with a maximum of 20 participants. Beyond this number, it would be necessary to create a second group, if necessary.

Dates, times and venue

The training sessions will take place remotely, via the Zoom platform, on Friday mornings, January 13 and 20, 2023.

Certificates

An attestation corresponding to the number of hours of training can be issued to learners by UQAR's Service de la formation continue et de la formation hors campus.

These units are recognized by many professional orders as qualifying for mandatory continuing education hours. Employers can also use PDUs to recognize their employees' professional development.

One (1) continuing education unit (CEU) is awarded for every ten (10) hours of participation in a continuing education activity. To receive a training certificate, learners must :

- have participated in a minimum of 80% of the training hours for each activity concerned;

- have successfully completed an assessment designed to verify the acquisition of knowledge.

Under this mandate, learners could therefore earn 0.7 PDUs.
