The Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2023 Board of Directors and new officers. At the 2022 general meeting held in Rivière-au-Renard on April 28, the results of the membership vote were announced. At the regular meeting in May, the Board appointed the new officers.
"With 19 years' experience in the life reinsurance industry, including over 9 years spent in Singapore and 6 years in Dubai, I have had the opportunity to work in over 50 countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. As a bilingual executive, I have a proven track record of success in strategy, business development and leadership. My experience includes leading multicultural and multi-national teams, as well as managing operations at Munich Reinsurance Company, one of the world's largest reinsurance companies.In addition to my international experience, I am a committed entrepreneur in the Gaspé region. For the past 11 years, I have successfully operated a campground in Cap-aux-Os (Parc Nature Gaspé), continually improving the service offering. In 2021, I opened an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria (Peppino), where I not only designed the menu and concept, but also took on the role of pizzaiolo chef for the first season. Three new projects are planned for the 2023 season.Originally from Grande-Rivière, my experience as a business owner in the region, combined with my in-depth expertise in risk management, gives me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses. I am convinced that my skills in strategy, business development and leadership will be an asset to the Côte-de-Gaspé Chamber of Commerce. As Chairman, I am committed to supporting the growth and development of local businesses in La Côte-de-Gaspé, encouraging local investment and contributing to a prosperous and thriving community."2023 Board of Directors
